Chris Carey (bass).....was born and raised in Newark, NJ. He has been singing since grammar school and was involved in many community theatre and regional productions, including Jesus Christ Superstar in Montclair, where he met Tom. Chris has performed in multiple productions with the New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players, and most prominently, toured with the National and Canadian Non-Equity company of "Jesus Christ Superstar" with Ted Neeley and Carl Anderson. Cadence is the first acapella group for Chris, and he is grateful for the opportunity to sing the kind of pure music that he has loved for years.

Ken Hess (baritone).....is originally from Lancaster County, PA, home of the whoopie pie! He holds a Bachelor and Masters degrees in Music Education. Ken has been a public school music teacher in NY State and NJ for the past fifteen years. Ken is the primary arranger for the sound of Cadence! Outside of Cadence, Ken also sings with New Jersey's Harmonium Choral Society, and is a free-lance accompanist.

Tom Donelan (tenor).....is originally from the midwest, well, from Iowa if you must know. Corn fed, and well bred, Tom brings a powerful tenor sound to Cadence. Tom is an accomplished soloist and lends his creative talents to Cadence in marketing the group. Tom has been a long standing member of the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players and can be seen locally in many Ridge Light Opera productions.

Bob Lanza (high tenor).....is a native New Jersey-ite. In 1992 Bob began singing acappella with a North Jersey doo-wop group and hasn't stopped since. Although faces have changed throughout the years, the unity that harmonizing brings remains steadfast. Singing at times into the stratosphere, Bob rounds out the soulful and contemporary sound of Cadence. Bob is especially thankful to his good friend Bob Mount for all of his vocal arrangements.
